In addition to various satellite sources of imagery, plant health images produced with the use of a drone can also be uploaded into Cropwise Imagery. Through uploading drone imagery, multiple image sources can be viewed and analyzed together in one centralized location.
How to Upload Drone Imagery
Within the Map View, select the drone icon in the upper-right corner.
Begin by selecting the Image Capture date so that the drone image can be correctly organized within the Image Catalog. Next, select the desired Drone Image. After selecting the image complete the upload process by selecting Upload Imagery.
Note: Only Stitched GeoTIFF images that are formatted according to the listed requirements will work correctly.
How to View Drone Imagery
After completing the process of uploading the image Cropwise Imagery will begin processing the file so that the drone image is available to be viewed and analyzed. After this processing has completed the image will be displayed within the Image Catalog.
Upon selecting the drone image from the Image Catalog, the image will be displayed within the Map View for further analysis.
