When downloading the Cropwise Protector Scouting App or the Cropwise Protector Mobile App, the unit of measurement will default to display the Metric System. This article will walk through how to change the unit of measure in both Cropwise Protector apps.
In order to switch the unit of measurement from the Metric System to the Imperial System, the user will first need to open the Cropwise Protector app they wish to work in.
Cropwise Protector Scouting App
After opening the Protector scouting app, navigate to the screen where the Organization's fields are visible on the map as well as the tiles along the bottom of the screen. Scroll through the tiles to the right and select on the Settings tile. The Settings tile is the last tile listed to the far right.
After opening the Settings tile, select on Unit of measurement.
Next, select on the unit of measure desired. If the user is wanting to see the field acreage in acres instead of hectares, select Imperial. (The various units of measure used by each system are listed under each option)
After selecting the desired unit of measure, click the green Save changes button, located at the bottom of the screen.
After clicking Save changes, the unit of measure will be updated and show as Imperial on the settings screen .
Cropwise Protector Mobile App
There are two ways within the Cropwise Protector Mobile app where the unit of measurement can be changed.
The first screen is the Organizations list Screen. Once on the list of Organizations, click the gear icon in the top-left corner of the screen.
After opening settings, click on Units and select the unit of measure desired. To update the unit of measure, click the green Save changes button at the bottom of the screen. After clicking Save changes, the updated unit of measure will be visible.
The second screen where the units of measure can be changed is within the menu tab.
Once in a farm under the organization, the user will be brought to the map view of the fields. Click on the Menu icon in the lower-right corner of the screen.
Once opening the menu screen, click the gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
After clicking the gear icon, the settings page will be visible. Click on Units to open the units of measure screen. Select the unit of measure desired and then click on the green Save changes button at the bottom of the screen. Once the user has saved the changes, the updated unit of measure will be visible.
