Creating an Alert

Cropwise Protector allows for users to set up an alert or notification on the mobile app.

Alerts will notify the user of an action within their Protector Organization based on the Alert options they select when setting up the Alert. This would be beneficial for a user who manages multiple Farms, Fields, Scouts, or anyone who would just like to stay up to date on the activity in the field. 

To create an alert, navigate to the Menu button located in the lower-right corner of the screen. After selecting Menu, click on the Alerts tile.   

                         

Once the Alerts section opens, the user can begin adding their alerts. The user could either hit the "+" button in the top-right corner of the screen or they can click on the green "+" button in the lower middle of the screen. If the user selects the Green plus button to enable the quick action menu tab, they will need to select Create an alert.

                                   

When the Create an alert page opens, click on the type of alert needed. Once selecting the alert type, the user will need to select the crop cycle they wish to set the alert for. Then, enter the alert name if they wish to name it something other than the defaulted name and then select the field or fields they wish to assign the alert to. When finished, click the green Save alert button at the bottom of the screen. 

                 

The alerts will then be sent as push notifications to your device when the alert is activated.
