Cropwise Financials makes it easy to import equipment data as completed applications. Creating an integration allows the data to be pulled from various sites where the equipment data is stored. This process helps to provide accurate timing, rates and placement of products through applications.
To get started with creating an integration in Cropwise Financials, contact Syngenta Digital Support to have the feature activated for the account. Once it is activated, navigate to the Integrations tab on the left hand side in Cropwise Financials. Next select on the Cropwise Connect button to set up the integration.
Once on the Cropwise Connect site, there will be several options to create integrations with the equipment manufacture's platform. Before selecting the integration, be sure the correct Cropwise Financials Organization is selected at the top of the page. After verifying the organization, select the platform to make the connection.
After selecting John Deere it will load the John Deere Operations site. Select on the Set Up option to create the integration between Cropwise and John Deere.
The program will walk through the sign in process in John Deere. After entering a user name and password to sign in, a list of Organizations from the Ops Center will be presented. If the correct John Deere Organization is selected and greyed out, close the window, if not, select the green check and select Save.
Next, there are three settings to choose from to finish setting up the integration.
First, set the date to pull existing data from John Deere. The start date for the integration will be auto populated to 365 days. This can be adjusted to the desired date of the records needed. Data will start to be pulled in for processing and become available within a couple hours. After the initial pull, new records will populate each night as available.
Second, choose between importing the Farm Field tree from John Deere or not. Note: if there is already a Farm Field Tree set up in Cropwise Financials you do not want to import another copy of the Farm Field Tree. This will duplicate what is already in Cropwise. This should only be selected if starting with no fields and you want to import all fields from John Deere. Choosing Import will import the Farms and Fields into Cropwise initially with setting up the integration and continue to update as new fields are added to the John Deere Operations Center.
Third, select the John Deere Organization you want to pair with the Cropwise Financials Organization. Then click Finish to complete the process.
