Added Growing Degree Days to Weather
To enhance the Weather portion of the App, Growing Degree Days have been added to help understand the growing conditions for a crop. Scroll between different temperatures to view different crops and pest target temperatures. Choose between one of ten predefined date ranges or create a custom date range.
Added Ability to Track Rainfall by Rain Gauges
The feature has been added to create Rain Gauges with the Land.db app to track rainfall for a specific area. The rain gauge will start to track rainfall for that location once created. The gauge(s) can be emptied and reset to zero to start tracking again. Select on individual gauges to view or edit the details.
While adding a new rain gauge, it can be named after the field or by a unique name. It can also be marked Favorite to show at the top of the list. Rain gauges can be view by Grid view or Map view.
View and Add Custom Products Within App
Custom products created in Land.db can now be viewed and used in the iOS app. The ability to create new custom products has also been added. Custom products are available in Plans, Applications, Work Orders, Recommendations, and Invoices. When adding a product to a new record, select Create Custom Product to add a custom Fertilizer or Service.
Added Production Reports
Within the Production block, two applied products reports have been. These reports include Applied Products Summary and Applied Products by Field Details. Selecting the File icon in the upper right will prompt for selecting the report details. The dates are preset to the first of the year and the current date. Cost is defaulted to Average Cost and pre-selected are the products recorded in applications for that crop year.
Enhanced the Ability to Convert Plans
While converting a Plan into an Application, Work Order or Recommendation, there has been a Deselect All button added when creating the record. Use the Deselect All button to un-select all of the products and then select the specific items to convert. The products can also filter by timing tag by selecting on All Products at the top.
Minor Improvement to Thumbnail Image Displayed when Viewing Records
When viewing records, a thumbnail image of the field will display next to the field name.
