- Seed Advisors draw their grower list directly from CropEdge. Sales Representatives and others within the Syngenta organizations can also create grower records. These do not get sent back to CropEdge. Input required grower information: Name, Street Address, City, County, State, Phone, Email and Classification.
- The Refresh Icon next to the Grower Name text field is an additional feature that allows the user to pull in Growers from the CropEdge Database to automatically populate their contact information.
- Additional Information is available for the grower, including the ability to adjust the default seeding rate for the account. This is and other information can be found in the collapsible section and may be auto-populated based on Syngenta’s historical records for that grower (CropEdge Database). User can also add as many equipment or business partner items as needed.
Once data fields are populated, the grower record has been selected, select “Add Fields” or “Import Field Tree” if the grower has provided a set of fields from Land.db or MyJohnDeere at the bottom of the page to begin adding farm(s) and field(s) to the newly created Grower account.
- Users must check the box when prompted (pop up window) that acknowledges the producer is providing legal consent to share their field information.
Editing a Grower Account
A grower’s information may need to be edited or updated for a specific field. To edit a grower account established with CropEdge, go to CropEdge and make the edits by selecting “Create CropEdge Grower.” And logging in to that site. Once edits have been complete, navigate back to E-Luminate and hit the refresh arrows under Grower Accounts to refresh the list.
