• Operating Systems: Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10
• Processor: 2.5 GHz Intel i5 processor or greater
• RAM: 4 GB or greater
• Disk Space: At least 2 GB of free hard drive space
Note that macOS (Macintosh/Apple operating system) is not a supported operating system. In order to run Land.db Software on an Apple Computer, one of the supported Microsoft Windows operating systems must be loaded. This can be accomplished through one of the following methods:
Option 1: Parallels (Recommended)
It is possible to run a valid copy of Windows inside of OSX through the use of a Virtual Machine. The user must PURCHASE a copy of Windows for this method as well.
Documentation for Parallels can be found here:
http://www.parallels.com/
It is the user’s responsibility to configure the Virtual Machine host and Virtual Machines. Syngenta Digital will provide support for Land.db installation and training once these other steps have taken place.
Option 2: Bootcamp
Bootcamp allows the user to choose whether to boot into macOS or Windows upon a computer restart. This is the safest and highest performance yielding method. The user will have to PURCHASE a valid copy of Windows for this method. Bootcamp itself is included with the purchase of an Apple Computer.
Documentation on how to set up Bootcamp can be found on Apple’s website here:
http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/
It is the user’s responsibility to configure Bootcamp and Windows. Syngenta Digital will provide support for Land.db installation and training once these other steps have taken place.
Important Note:
Please be aware that Land.db Software does not natively work with Apple Computers and as a result the user will have to purchase a copy of Windows. Performance of Syngenta Digital products cannot be guaranteed to that of acceptable standards when using Apple software/hardware in the above methods.
