To add new properties and fields to your organization, first navigate to Cropwise Base in Google Chrome browser:
Cropwise Base: app.cropwise.com
Select the desired organization at the top of the screen
If you cannot find the desired organization, select the Cropwise product selector in the upper-left corner and select the workspace under Cropwise Base.
If the workspace is not within the drop down, select on Access your Cropwise Accounts and select Base within the workspace that contains the desired organization.
With the desired organization selected, navigate to Properties within the menu and select the + New property button.
Name your property (farm), identify its location and select the Next button.
Select the + New field button.
Create the new field with either the Draw your fields, Upload file or Field detection options.
Draw Your Fields
When drawing a new field boundary, simply start clicking within the map to identify boundary points along the border of the field. Select the first boundary point to close the shape, name the field and then either select Save or Save and draw another.
Upload File
Follow this process to upload shapefiles to the current selected property. Please note that importing a Farm-Field Tree (FFT) only works on a per property (farm) basis. Please repeat this import process for each necessary property.
Select the Click or drag file to this area to upload button.
Search for and select the desired shapefiles and then select the Open button.
Note: Shapefiles have individual .shp, .shx and .dbf files that need to be within the same zipped folder together.
If available, search for a file attribute that contains anything similar to Name or Field Name, for example, and then select the Next button.
The fields will now display within the map and are available for any necessary edits. Next, select the Save button, followed by the Finish button.
Field Detection
Select an existing Common Land Unit (CLU) and edit the field name as needed. Repeat this process for any new additional fields and then select the Save button.
After fields are created and identified, a crop cycle screen will appear which is not necessary for Cropwise Imagery. The newly created fields will then be available within Cropwise Imagery and will force a new download of satellite imagery to be cached within Google Chrome's browser.
