To retrieve the Farm Field Tree boundaries from Land.db, first open and sign into Land.db desktop client.
Once signed in, navigate to the Land menu, select Home within the Farm Field Tree and then navigate to Map > Settings > Export Farm Field Tree on the right side of the screen.
Create a New folder in the location you desire, such as the Desktop or Documents folder, and then navigate into that new folder.
After navigating to the new folder, select the Save option in the lower-right corner. A Finished message will appear in Land.db that can be closed out by clicking the OK button.
Find and left click the folder that contains the exported shapefiles to select it. Next, right click the folder and navigate to Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder in order to zip this folder.
The shapefile folder should now be listed as a separate zipped file.
Next, navigate to Cropwise Financials, https://financials.cropwise.com/. Navigate to Properties in the left-side menu and select the + Create Fields button.
Select the Upload field files option.
Select the option to Click or drag file to this area to upload.
Find and select the zipped folder containing the shapefiles and then select the Open button.
Next, choose the Select all option to check all available fields to import in the list and then select the Import button in the lower-right corner.
An Import Properties loading screen will appear. Please note that loading time will vary dependent on the number of fields that are being imported.
If the import was successful, then the Farm Field Tree will be available within the Cropwise Financials organization.
If there were any issues importing field boundaries, the failed shapes will be presented with the option to correct the shape, try to import again, or delete from the list. In many cases if a field fails to import it is due to a bowtie or error in the field boundary. Selecting the pencil tool next to the failed shape will present the shape on the map to make the correction and then save.
