With potato processors it is important to share specific information to the processor for delivery of the crop. The integration between Land.db and McCain allows for information to be transferred to McCain from Land.db.
To watch a video on transferring data to McCain, select play on this video, or view step by step instructions below.
Data that is transferred to McCain includes:
- Irrigation Source and Origin in Water Information on the Crop Zone Information tab
- Crop Protection, Seed, and Fertilizer products, rates and methods
- Soil Type
- Seed Lot ID on the Crop Zone Information tab
- Applicator Name
- Weather at start time of application
- Latitude and Longitude based on Field Boundaries
To get started, in Land.db, select on the Crop Zone in the Farm Field Tree List. On the Info tab, on the right, select Regulatory Permit Information.
Enter the name McCain in the Site ID space. Once the name is entered in the Site ID box in Land.db, the information from that crop zone can be transferred to McCain using the McCain Import Tool.
To navigate to the McCain import tool, Click Here. Log in using your Land.db user name and password. All Land.db users that need to submit data to McCain will need to have the permission added to their user account. Contact Syngenta Digital Support to be given access.
Once logged in, the Farm, Field and Crop Zones identified, with McCain in the Site ID field, will populate in the list. Select one in the drop down list to submit the data. The Vendor Number provided by McCain must also be entered. Once all information is entered select Submit. Data may be resubmitted as many times as needed.
