Crop Plans can be used in Cropwise Financials to build out cost estimates, product usage, and yield projections. Once completed they can be printed or shared with a banker, retailer, or for management review. They can also be used to convert all or portions of the plan into a recommendation or task.
Getting started creating a plan, it is important to have the basics set up first by adding your Farm Field Tree and assigning a crop to the fields. Also be sure to set up the Crop Season for the year or specific crop the plan is for.
On the Dashboard within the Cropwise Financials mobile app, select on Plan under the Production menu to view existing plans or create a new one. Another option is to select the Green Plus Sign to instantly start creating a plan.
To start creating the plan, complete the required information on the Details tab. Additional information can be captured below in Fixed Cost and Projected Revenue.
After completing the Details tab, move on to the Fields tab. Selecting fields/crop zones is optional when creating a plan. To add fields, select the Green Plus Sign, then sort by Farm, Crops, or Map. Select the field/crop zones in the list and choose Save in the upper-right.
The last step of creating a plan is adding products. On the Products tab, select the Green Plus Sign to start adding products and/or services. Start by typing the product in the search box. Once the correct product is located in the search results, select the check box and enter the rate and other details for the product. Continue adding products by searching for additional products and entering the information. Once all products are added, select the Save in the upper-right.
After entering Details, Fields and Products, the Summary of all information can be viewed before selecting Create.
On the Plans tab within the Production menu, the exiting plans can be viewed by selecting on one. Selecting on the More Option icon will provide a popup to Delete or Edit the plan, create a PDF Report, Duplicate the plan, or Convert it into a Task or Recommendation
